Company / Client Overview

On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable optical retail group in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit an Optician / Optometrist for their stores in the Nicosia district. The company is known for its high standards of customer care, modern retail environment, and commitment to delivering professional eye care services.

Role Overview

The Optician / Optometrist will be responsible for providing professional optometric services, ensuring excellent customer experience, and supporting the overall operation of the store. This role is ideal for a qualified professional who combines technical expertise with strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive optometric examinations
• Provide expert advice to customers on vision care and optical products
• Conduct contact lens fittings and follow-ups
• Ensure high standards of customer service and patient care
• Support the daily operations and smooth running of the optical store
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with professional standards
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets and deliver excellent service

Requirements

• Degree in Optics or Optometry
• Registered with the Cyprus Association of Opticians
• Ability to perform optometric examinations independently
• Experience in contact lens fitting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, responsible, and organized approach to work
• Flexibility to work in a retail environment, including mall locations and weekends
• Ability to work within a 38-hour weekly schedule
