Job Overview

The Storekeeper will primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and equipment for the daily hotel operations.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

·       Responsible of Receiving, Storing, and Issuing Food, Beverage, or Cleaning Products used by the Hotel Department.

·       Must participate in the Loading of all products necessary to the operation of the Food Dept.

·       Ensures requisitions are prepared and delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with the requisition timetable.

·       Ensure appropriate FIFO Rotation is in place in his area and report any issue to the Procurement Manager.

·       Must, according to schedule, participate in the cleaning of all storage facilities according to the Public Health procedures and standards.

·       Takes scheduled and end of voyage physical inventory of their store according to the Procurement Manager instruction.

·       Must be knowledgeable with all the cleaning, food, chemicals materials used by hotel departments

Qualifications & Experience

·       Must speak and write Greek and English very well.

·       Minimum of two years’ experience as storekeeper, preferably in hotel.

·       Experience with inventory systems will consider as advantage.

·       Holder of an EU passport is essential.

·       Pleasant and friendly personality, fair, honest reliable and polite.

·       Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.

·       Very good communication skills.

·       Working quickly without compromising quality

·       Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a high-paced luxury environment.
