Supply Chain Specialist
We seek to recruit a highly motivated individual, for the position of Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic and diverse department.
The successful candidate reports to the Supply Chain Manager, who will provide guidance and support for professional growth and success, and will be based in Nicosia.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, customer service and communication skills. They will provide support in warehousing, materials handling, order fulfilment, inventory control and vendors.
You will be responsible for:
- Be detail-oriented team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Prepare purchase orders to vendors and confirms delivery date, quantity ordered and price correctness
- Track orders and ensures timely delivery
- Expedite delivery of goods to users
- Obtain price quotes from vendors and prepares evaluations
- Process invoices and other related to orders documents for payments/ archiving including reconciliation of purchase orders versus invoices
- Update internal databases with order details (vendors, skus data, dates)
- Monitor stock levels as needed physically and through the stock control module of the ERP
- Run reports to help the determination of stock needs for the preparation of the departmental forecasts and/or supporting other departments/ customers, i.e., Finance Department
- Serve as liaison between the company and the vendor in order to address requirements, non-conformance, delivery and invoice issues
- Participate in the preparation of all internal and external audits (SOPs/ ISO etc.)
- Support all supply chain procedures, ensures compliance with laws, regulations, ISO requirements and help improve company policies related to supply chain
Your Profile:
University degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field will be considered an advantage
No more than 3 years of experience
Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Working experience as a Supply Chain Assistant / Purchasing Assistant / Buyer will be considered as an advantage
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize tasks
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Fluent in Greek and English
Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems will be considered as an advantage
