Core Description

• Design, implement, operate, monitor, maintain and continuously improve the Bank's enterprise network infrastructure, across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. 

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of network technologies, including configuration, capacity planning, performance monitoring, upgrades, patching, hardware refresh, vendor support coordination, and timely resolution of network incidents and service disruptions. 

• Implement and maintain secure network architectures and controls, including network segmentation, load balancers, VPNs, secure remote access solutions, NAC, and network infrastructure hardening. 

• Drive network modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging networking technologies and utilization of AI. 

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and availability, performing root cause analysis, fault diagnosis, traffic analysis, capacity management, and implementing corrective actions to maintain service levels and operational resilience. 

What We’re Looking For

🎓 Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject.

• Master’s degree in the above subjects is an advantage. 

💼 Experience

• 5+ years of experience in related Managerial roles.

• Experience in enterprise network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or ICT operations within a complex, highly available environment. 

• Hands-on experience with networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and SD-WAN. 

• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and network security controls. 

• Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, capacity planning, and root cause analysis. 

• Experience supporting business-critical, customer-facing, and multi-site enterprise environments, including disaster recovery and resilience testing. 

🖥️ Technologies

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.). 

• Strong knowledge of load balancers, proxy, and firewalls. 

• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (i.e. SolarWinds) for functions like performance monitoring and fault management. 

• Knowledge of security protocols and technologies like NAC, RADIUS and TACACS  

• Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages (Ansible and Terraform) is an advantage.  

• Familiarity with Cisco ACI technologies is an advantage.

➕ Certifications (or willingness to obtain)

• Cisco CCNA / CCNP / CCIE 

• Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate 

• Other vendor specific certifications (e.g. Fortinet NSE, Aruba ACMP/ACSP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE)
