The Accounts &amp; Invoicing Specialist is responsible for issuing accurate invoices for both traditional and online travel bookings and performing reconciliations between invoicing data and accounting records. This role ensures invoicing integrity and supports the accounting team by maintaining consistency between bookings, invoicing, and financial reporting.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:Invoicing and System Management: • Prepare and issue accurate invoices for traditional and online travel services. • Post invoices promptly into the company’s accounting or booking systems. • Communicate with travel consultants to verify booking and service details when invoice information is unclear.&nbsp;Client Communication and Dispute Resolution: • Respond to client inquiries related to invoices, payment terms, or discrepancies. • Resolve invoice-related issues, including corrections and adjustments. • Maintain clear, professional communication to support positive client relationships.&nbsp;Reconciliation and Financial Accuracy: • Perform reconciliations between invoicing records and accounting data to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Assist with account verification and month-end reconciliation tasks. • Identify and escalate discrepancies to the Senior Accountant for resolution.&nbsp;Collaboration and Support: • Work closely with the accounting, invoicing, operations, and sales teams to ensure aligned financial records.&nbsp;Reporting Structure: The position of Accounts &amp; Invoicing Specialist is accountable and reports to the Senior Accountant.&nbsp;Qualifications:<ul><li>Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes (required).</li><li>Prior experience in travel industry ticketing, bookings, or invoicing (preferred but not required).</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas, tables, and basic data analysis.</li><li>Experience using accounting software or booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or similar platforms) is an advantage.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.</li><li>Good organizational and communication skills to collaborate with internal departments and respond to client inquiries.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.</li><li>Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is a plus.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply please click here: <a href="https://columbiagroup.org/job/accounts-invoicing-specialist/">Accounts &amp; Invoicing Specialist</a>
