Back Office &amp; Payments Operations OfficerLocation: Limassol, Cyprus About eCREDOeCREDO Ltd is a European Electronic Money Institution (EMI) providing digital financial services across Europe. We are expanding our operations team and are looking for a Back Office &amp; Payments Operations Officer to support the day-to-day execution and monitoring of payment activities. Key Responsibilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform daily back-office operations related to payment processing and account management.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor and process SEPA payments (incoming and outgoing), ensuring timely execution and proper reconciliation.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor and handle SWIFT payments, including tracking, investigations, and exception handling.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage card back-office operations, including transaction processing, settlements, and scheme-related activities.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor card transactions for potential fraud, investigate suspicious activity, and take appropriate action.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Handle card-related queries, chargebacks, and dispute processes.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform reconciliation of card transactions, including scheme settlements and processor reports.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Reconcile client accounts, safeguarding accounts, and settlement accounts on a daily basis.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, failed transactions, returns, and unmatched items.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support transaction monitoring processes and escalate suspicious activity.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain accurate records and ensure proper data entry in internal systems.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaise with partner banks, correspondents, card issuers/processors, and payment providers.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist in managing liquidity and funding of payment flows.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure compliance with internal procedures and EMI regulatory requirements.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support internal reporting on payment flows and operational issues.&nbsp; Qualifications &amp; Skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience in payments, banking operations, or back office within a financial institution or EMI.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Understanding of SEPA, SWIFT, and card payment flows.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience with card operations, fraud monitoring, and reconciliations is an advantage.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Familiarity with transaction monitoring, investigations, and dispute handling.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high transaction volumes.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills in English and Greek.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
