Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations</li><li>Monitor daily revenue reporting and reconciliation (POS systems, cash, card payments, online platforms)</li><li>Prepare and review annual financial statements</li><li>Handle payroll accounting</li><li>Ensure compliance with local, national, and international accounting standards and regulations</li><li>Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes</li><li>Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities</li><li>Supervise and mentor the accounting team</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.)</li><li>Develop and enforce internal controls to prevent fraud, theft, and revenue leakage</li><li>Provide financial insights to management to improve operational efficiency and margins</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)</li><li>Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is considered an advantage</li><li>7-10+ years of accounting experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP)</li><li>Experience with accounting software and ERP systems</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure</li><li>Greek and English language is a must</li></ul>&nbsp;Working Conditions<ul><li>Full-time position</li><li>Office-based&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>
