Job Summary We are a growing Limassol-based firm providing accounting, tax, advisory, and audit services to international businesses and entrepreneurs. Our client base includes services companies, IP-holding structures, and financing companies. &nbsp;We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take full ownership of a portfolio of client companies — managing the work end-to-end, liaising directly with clients, and reviewing the work of junior accountants. &nbsp;What You Will Do &nbsp;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage a portfolio of client companies — services companies, IP-holding companies, and financing companies — covering bookkeeping, VAT/VIES, management accounts, and year-end preparation for handover to the audit team. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Own client relationships — be the day-to-day point of contact, respond to client queries, and proactively flag issues before they become problems. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review and supervise — review the work of our remote junior accountants, run scheduled weekly check-ins with them, give clear feedback, and help them grow. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;VAT and VIES — prepare and submit returns on time, and handle correspondence with the Tax Department where needed. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Year-end preparation — close the books, prepare the trial balance and supporting schedules, and hand a clean file to the audit team. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Process discipline — work within the firm's SOPs and help us keep improving them. &nbsp;Who We Are Looking For Required •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience: minimum 5 years in a Cyprus accounting firm, with hands-on portfolio responsibility (not just data entry). •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Technical knowledge: familiar of Cyprus VAT and VIES, and how a set of books should look at year-end. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Cloud accounting: comfortable working in a cloud accounting environment. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Languages: fluent Greek and English, written and spoken. &nbsp;Nice to Have •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ACCA / ACA / equivalent qualification (in progress or completed) — useful but not required. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prior exposure to international group structures (holding / IP / financing companies). •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience using cloud accounting systems. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience reviewing the work of junior staff. &nbsp;What We Offer •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Competitive salary based on experience and what you bring to the table. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participation in a corporate pension fund. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Hybrid working with flexible hours and Friday afternoons off. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Real ownership of your portfolio from day one — no babysitting, no micromanaging. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A small, focused team where your work is visible and your input shapes how the firm runs. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Continuous development — we invest in training and want you to keep getting better. &nbsp;How to Apply Send your CV to <a href="mailto:info@cmarkou.com">info@cmarkou.com</a>.
