Senior Accountant (Ref: 528)Limassol&nbsp;&nbsp;The Client&nbsp;A well-established local Group with activities in Real Estate.&nbsp;ResponsibilitiesA great opportunity for an experienced Accounting professional ideally with exposure to the Real Estate Development sector, or one who is open to learn and adapt. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting and support development projects through feasibility analysis, budgeting, and cost control, and will report directly to the Head of Finance.Main responsibilities include:•&nbsp;Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.•&nbsp;Manage accounts payable, invoicing, and payments.•&nbsp;Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.•&nbsp;Prepare monthly management accounts, and annual budgets.•&nbsp;Prepare feasibility studies and project cash flow forecasts for real estate developments.•&nbsp;Monitor and review development costs and budgets.•&nbsp;Review tenders, bills of quantities, and contractor invoices.•&nbsp;Manage payroll and tax filings, including VAT returns and IR7 forms.•&nbsp;Liaise with auditors and assist with audited financial statements.•&nbsp;Contribute to process improvements and strong financial controls. &nbsp;Profile of the ideal candidate&nbsp;•&nbsp;University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another equivalent qualification•&nbsp;Qualified member of a professional accounting body (ACA / ACCA)•&nbsp;At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant, ideally in an in-house role within the Real Estate Development or Construction sectors•&nbsp;Experienced with project accounting and cost control•&nbsp;Very good financial analysis and financial modeling skills, with a keen eye for detail•&nbsp;Tech savvy –very good user of accounting software and Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint•&nbsp;Very good English and Greek language skills. &nbsp;Benefits&nbsp;An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;This is a fully on-site role Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 1-hour midday break.&nbsp;Apply now in strict confidence on the PwC website:<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://onlinerecruitment.exelsyslive.com/?c=1e5e83ca-cc9e-458c-9b0e-f03cd96e73b3p%20">https://onlinerecruitment.exelsyslive.com/?c=1e5e83ca-cc9e-458c-9b0e-f03cd96e73b3p%20</a>Applications will only be accepted via the above application link.
