We looking an AML & Compliance Officer for our client owned CIF licensed and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) specialize in online financial trading services and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

What You'll Do

• Be appointed as the registered Compliance Officer and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (CO/AMLCO) with CySEC.
• Act as the primary liaison with CySEC and the Unit for Combating Money Laundering (MOKAS/FIU Cyprus).
• Ensure all periodic and ad hoc regulatory reports are submitted accurately and on time.
• Prepare compliance reports for the Board of Directors and regulators.
• Monitor new CySEC, EU and local regulatory developments and implement necessary changes.
• Identify, investigate and report suspicious transactions to MOKAS in accordance with applicable legislation.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, including risks relating to CFD/FX products.
• Coordinate compliance monitoring reviews across departments.
• Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver compliance guidance and training to internal stakeholders.
• Support regulatory inspections and internal audits.
• Conduct KYC/KYB reviews and customer risk assessments.
• Respond to compliance enquiries from internal departments.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• CySEC Advanced Certificate (AML Certificate is an advantage).
• At least 1-2 years' experience as a Compliance Officer and/or AML Officer within a CySEC-regulated investment firm.
• Strong knowledge of the CySEC regulatory framework.
• Experience in the CFD/FX industry, including leverage, margin trading and ESMA product intervention measures.
• Experience with transaction monitoring and screening systems (e.g. Sumsub, Refinitiv, LexisNexis or similar).
• Working knowledge of EU/EEA regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with MiCA and crypto-asset regulations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Greek is an advantage.
