Restaurant Supervisor

Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa | Paphos, Cyprus

Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean is currently looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, support and motivate the restaurant team during service.
• Ensure that guests receive friendly, professional and attentive service at all times.
• Monitor table service, food and beverage delivery, and ensure orders are served accurately and efficiently.
• Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with staff scheduling, daily briefings and the allocation of duties.
• Ensure that restaurant service standards, company procedures and hygiene requirements are consistently followed.
• Monitor the cleanliness, presentation and overall appearance of the restaurant and service areas.
• Train and support team members to improve their skills and service standards.
• Coordinate effectively with the Kitchen, Bar and other departments to ensure an excellent guest experience.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with controlling food and beverage supplies where required.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with the smooth operation of the department and take responsibility in their absence when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Head Waiter or in a similar supervisory position, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Good command of Greek and English.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a busy restaurant operation.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and hygiene procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
