We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry and bookkeeping
Prepare and maintain invoices, and reports
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
Collaborate with senior accountants and auditors as needed
Requirements
An LCCI Higher Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or prior experience in accounting or finance
