Uniteam Global Business Services delivers outstanding professional business services in the areas of financial management, accounting administration, human resources and information technology, enabling customers to focus on the core activities.

With immediate effect, we are looking for a Junior Treasury Accountant to be based at our office in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in the preparation of the Group’s and individual BU’s monthly and annual Cashflow forecasts and communicates with the Treasury Head
• Assists in the preparation of the Group’s and individual BU’s monthly and annual Cashflow Statements, in collaboration with the General Accounting and Reporting Competency
• Obtains and processes purchase orders while ensuring that relevant Group policy has been followed and maintains records of all appropriate documents (e.g. approval documents)
• Processes the monthly/weekly salary payments for both crew and staff members following the approval of the Treasury Head and maintains records of all appropriate documents (e.g. payroll calculation)
• Performs monthly bank reconciliation exercises and investigates any discrepancies
• Maintains updated records in relation to the Group’s relationships with banking institutions including applicable interest, charges and quality issues

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting or Business Administration (major in Accounting)
• LCCI Higher or CAT or AAT
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of SAP or similar accounting package will be considered an advantage
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and change management skills
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and sociability skills
