ELIDI Securities Ltd (previously UGM Securities Ltd) was incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus in 2016 and it is a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF), authorised and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under Licence No. 352/17. ELIDI Securities Ltd was founded by a team of inspired, experienced, and talented professionals with a strong background in international financial and economic institutions. Our primary focus is on meeting the needs and interests of investors while prioritizing a low level of risk through our best execution policy.

About the Role

Second line of defence over the firm’s trading portfolio. Independent verification of trades, daily risk monitoring, and reconciliation across OTC fixed income and derivatives positions.

Responsibilities

•        Perform daily reconciliation of trade orders vs. executed confirmations (ISIN, price, notional, counterparty, settlement date); investigate and resolve breaks

•        Monitor fixed income risk parameters: DV01, modified duration, spread duration, yield sensitivities

•        Track derivatives risk metrics: VaR, delta, gamma; escalate limit breaches to CRO

•        Verify compliance with position limits, single-name concentration limits, and counterparty credit limits

•        Monitor aggregate counterparty exposures, margin calls, and collateral movements

•        Perform independent P&L verification against front-office marks

•        Produce daily risk reports and contribute to risk committee packs

•        Maintain Middle Office procedures and controls in line with MiFID II, EMIR, and CySEC requirements

Requirements

•        Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field

•        1–2+ years of experience in a financial institution (middle office experience is an advantage but not required)

•        Basic understanding of fixed income analytics (DV01, duration, yield curves) and derivatives risk metrics

•        Experience with OTC trade reconciliation and break resolution

•        Advanced Excel; Bloomberg Terminal proficiency

•        Knowledge of MiFID II / EMIR / CySEC regulatory framework

 •        Strong English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

•        FRM or CFA (or in progress)

•        Experience with Calypso, Murex, or similar systems

•        Familiarity with EM fixed income (Central Asia)

•         Russian language is a plus
