Junior Financial ControllerThe Junior Financial Controller ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient accounting operations. He/She manages audits, tax filings, budgeting, and financial planning while overseeing staff and implementing process improvements to support the organization's financial health.&nbsp;Your role:<ul><li>Supports in preparing accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Coordinates audits and manages relationships with external auditors.</li><li>Oversees the general ledger and ensures all transactions are properly recorded.</li><li>Manages month-end and year-end closing processes.</li><li>Ensures reconciliation of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.</li><li>Assists the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.</li><li>Monitors financial performance and provides variance analysis.</li><li>Identifies cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Ensures timely and accurate tax filings (corporate tax, VAT, payroll taxes, etc.).</li><li>Keeps up to date with tax laws and regulations.</li><li>Supervises accounting staff and ensures their training and development.</li><li>Delegates tasks and manages workflow within the accounting department.</li><li>Continuously evaluates and improves accounting processes and systems.</li><li>Implements best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Leverages technology to streamline financial operations.</li></ul>&nbsp;What profile we are looking for:<ul><li>BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>ACA or ACCA semi-qualified or recently qualified or equivalent certification preferred.</li><li>At least 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance roles.</li><li>Proven experience in a senior accounting position, preferably within a similar industry.</li><li>Fluent in Greek and English (written and verbal).</li><li>Excellent leadership and team management abilities.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software systems.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>&nbsp;What we offer:<ul><li>13th salary</li><li>Medical Insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li><li>Dynamic and Friendly environment</li></ul>Join our team by applying <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://betonalfa.bamboohr.com/careers/36?source=aWQ9MjQ%3D">here</a>.All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality!
