AccountantOn behalf of our client, a retail company in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a skilled Accountant to manage all financial operations independently. Position’s Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul style="text-align:justify;"><li>The person will be working alone in the accounting department ensuring that all accounting transactions are properly recorded and managed. The core duties will be to:&nbsp;</li><li>Manage all aspects of the company’s financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.</li><li>Prepare and oversee daily cash flow, monitor sales transactions, and reconcile discrepancies.</li><li>Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank statements and financial accounts.</li><li>Process payroll, including deductions and employee reimbursements.</li><li>Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.</li><li>Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and other retail-specific requirements.</li><li>Oversee end-of-year closing and work with auditors for financial reviews.</li><li>Implement and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard assets.</li></ul>Position’s Requirements<ul style="text-align:justify;"><li>University degree holder in Accounting or any other relevant field or Holder of LCCI Higher, or partly qualified</li><li>At least 3 years of experience working in the accounting field and preferably in retail&nbsp;</li><li>Organizational and planning skills&nbsp;</li><li>Detail Orientation</li><li>Communication skills&nbsp;</li></ul>Employer's Details Working Hours:&nbsp;10:00 - 18:00 Salary range:&nbsp;€1900 - €2100 gross * 13If you are interested, please submit your CV via the given link:&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17309701511690061567BqF">https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17309701511690061567BqF</a> &nbsp;
