The Role:We are seeking to recruit for an esteemed client an experienced and suitably well-qualified professional for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), to be based in the client's offices in Nicosia.&nbsp;&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department;</li><li>Oversee in company-wide budgetary planning;</li><li>Oversee in payments cycle and handle Group payments with the bank signatories;</li><li>Ensure that all of the company’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations;&nbsp;</li><li>Develop plans for financial growth;</li><li>Prepare financial reports;</li><li>Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed;</li><li>Monitor and report on cash flow and set up action points;</li><li>Update and implement financial policies and procedures;</li><li>Streamline accounting functions and operations;</li><li>Responsible for Debtor Collection oversight and liquidity management;</li><li>Liaise with external auditors for the completion of the audit of group companies;</li><li>Supervise a team of individuals regarding day-to-day operations including tracking financial data, invoicing and payroll.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Qualified ACA/ACCA (must);</li><li>Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role (must);</li><li>Previous role in Services Industry ideally (Big 4, Medium Firms) as Auditor/Accountant or internal Finance;</li><li>Knowledge of Tax and VAT would be an asset, ideally someone who started as an Auditor and then moved into tax or VAT for 1-2 years so knows both sides;</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;</li><li>Experienced in working under pressure and shifting priorities as tasks come in;</li><li>Willingness to learn and evolve in a fast-paced environment;</li><li>Exceptional organisational skills and aptitude for numbers;</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;</li><li>Professionalism, work ethic, self-motivated and team player;</li><li>Positive can-do attitude;</li><li>Highly committed personality.</li></ul>The company offers an attractive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience, including flexible working hours as well as excellent opportunities for career development and advancement.&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV at&nbsp;rs@fincap.comAll applicants will be treated with strict confidentiality.
