The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networks and cybersecurity, with a focus on the design, implementation and management of network security solutions and the implementation of IT security best practices. Experience with Fortinet technologies is a strong advantage but not mandatory.</span></h6><h6 style="text-align:justify;">&nbsp;</h6><p style="margin-bottom:4.0pt;margin-left:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-top:4.0pt;text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-US"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Design, implement, and manage security systems to deliver cutting-edge security solutions to our customers.</span></h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Develop and maintain security policies, support procedures and system/solution documentation.</span></h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Provide technical support services, conduct root cause analysis of service outages and implement preventive measures and best practices.</span></h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Communicate with clients and stakeholders to identify requirements, provide expert advice, and progress updates.</span></h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Collaborate internally with engineering teams, sales and project management to support process efficiency and improved productivity.</span></h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Continuously develop technical skills and obtain technical certifications as required by vendor partnerships.</span><br>&nbsp;</h6></li></ul><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Key Qualifications</strong></h6><ul><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;">University degree in Computer Engineering, or other IT related field.</h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;">At least 3 years of proven working experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.</h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;">Familiarity with Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiWeb, FortiMail FortiClient, etc.) is a significant plus.</h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;">Knowledge of networking protocols.</h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;">Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.</h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;">Professional certifications such as Fortinet NSE or similar are highly desirable.</h6></li><li><h6 style="text-align:justify;">Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) will be considered an advantage.</h6><p style="text-align:justify;">&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Skills and Competencies</strong></p><ul><li><p style="text-align:justify;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p style="text-align:justify;">Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p style="text-align:justify;">Willing to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.</p></li><li><p style="text-align:justify;">Excellent communication and documentation abilities (in English and Greek).Friendly and professional manner with an enthusiastic positive approach towards tasks.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;">&nbsp;</p><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Applications</strong><br>Interested candidates must electronically submit their applications with a recent CV to <strong>careers@gcc.com.cy</strong> before <strong>30th of April 2025 </strong>quoting the above job title and reference number.</h6><h6 style="text-align:justify;">&nbsp;</h6><h6 style="text-align:justify;"><i>Please ensure your application clearly highlights your relevant technical experience.
