The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving store performance, and promoting Engino’s educational mission through four core pillars:<ol><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Retail sales of STEM toys</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">After-school STEM &amp; Robotics workshops</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Event planning (e.g., school visits, birthday parties)</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">External partnerships with schools, hotels, and businesses</li></ol>Key Responsibilities: - Deliver outstanding customer service, enhancing satisfaction and engagement. - Manage store operations, including POS transactions, merchandising, and inventory control. - Implement retail loss prevention practices effectively. - Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, promoting a positive and innovative work environment. - Plan, organize, and oversee after-school STEM &amp; Robotics workshops and educational events. - Coordinate and execute external partnership programs tailored to schools, hotels, and corporate clients. - Utilize business analytics to monitor performance metrics (KPIs), adjusting strategies accordingly. - Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to streamline operations and maximize profitability. - Execute marketing strategies in collaboration with the corporate marketing team, optimizing local promotional activities. Qualifications &amp; Skills: - Proven experience in retail management or store leadership roles. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. - Strong leadership abilities with proven HR experience in team-building and mentorship. - Proficiency in store operations, inventory management, and POS systems. - Adept at implementing loss prevention and operational efficiency strategies. - Knowledgeable in business analytics and KPI-driven management. - Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to challenges. - Previous experience or genuine interest in STEM education and children's development is highly advantageous. - Fluent in English (mandatory); ideally also fluent in Greek and/or Russian. ENGINO is looking for an energetic person for the position of Store Manager for a new educational toy store and learning centre in Nicosia. <div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall store operations, monitoring the store performance, maximizing sales and profits, manpower efficiency and providing a service of excellence to its customers as well as the booking and management of workshops, birthday parties, school visits etc., that can take place inside the centre or externally.<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Main Responsibilities: <div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><ul style="text-align: justify;"><li>Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Hire, train and manage other employees.</li><li>Implement business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, increase external business, and enhance profitability and work based on Franchising standards and continual improvement of KPI’s.</li><li>Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.</li><li>Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.</li><li>Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays along with prompt and efficient stock replenishment.</li><li>Undertake store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records and cash flow.</li><li>Supervise marketing activities, offline and digital, in close cooperation with headquarters and cooperating agencies.</li><li>Organize workshops, parties, school visits and other events within the store &amp; outside.</li><li>Operate the cash machines (POS) and the other software necessary for the smooth operation of the centre.</li><li>Report to franchise headquarters.</li></ul><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Requirements:<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><ul style="text-align: justify;"><li>Bachelor’s degree in any degree or at least 10 years’ experience in similar position. </li><li>MBA, Degree in Education, Science or Engineering will be considered as an advantage.</li><li>A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a retail environment in a managerial role is required.</li><li>Strong leadership and customer management abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><a>Remuneration Package Offered: </a><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><ul><li style="text-align: justify;"><a>An attractive pay package is offered, depending on qualifications and experience.</a></li><li style="text-align: justify;">13th salary is offered plus bonus on performance</li></ul><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Contact:<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>The candidates should contact us by sending their CV at <a href="mailto:recruiting.management@engino.com">recruiting.management@engino.com</a> with title’’ Store Manager’’.<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Your application will be treated strictly confidential.
