RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales Strategy Development:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the RoRo market.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish clear, measurable sales objectives.&nbsp;Team Leadership:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed targets.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate training to enhance team skills.&nbsp;Client Relationship Management:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Serve as the primary contact for major accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.&nbsp;Market Research and Analysis:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer demands, and competitive positioning.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Utilize market insights to refine product development and enhance sales strategies.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Sales Forecasting and Reporting:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide detailed performance reports to executive management.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.&nbsp;Cross-Department Collaboration:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectiveso&nbsp;&nbsp; Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss business development opportunities and operational challenges.&nbsp;Contract Negotiation and Pricing:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Lead negotiations for high-value contracts, ensuring favourable terms for the company.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Review and approve pricing strategies and proposals to maintain a competitive edge.&nbsp;Performance Monitoring and Budgeting:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Track sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address challengeso&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage the sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation while maintaining profitability.&nbsp;REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the maritime industry, with a strong focus on RoRo services.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Comprehensive knowledge of the maritime industry, particularly RoRo operations and logistics.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
