Security Engineer On behalf of a client, well-established provider of IT-based solutions and system integrator, we are currently looking for a Security Engineer to join their team in Nicosia. Objective The ideal candidate must have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on the design, implementation and management of network security solutions and the implementation of IT security best practices.&nbsp; Position’s Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, implement, and manage security systems, including configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software (endpoint protection solutions, email security) and hardware (such as firewalls, web application firewalls), to deliver cutting-edge security solutions to our customers.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, procedures, and technical documentation, aligning with best practices and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Manage and support security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, endpoint protection, DLP, IDS/IPS, encryption, SD-WAN, VPNs.</li><li>Provide technical support services, conduct root cause analysis of service outages and implement preventive measures and best practices.</li><li>Communicate with clients and stakeholders to identify requirements, provide expert advice, and progress updates.</li><li>Collaborate internally with engineering teams, sales and project management to support process efficiency and improved productivity.</li><li>Liaise with vendors and third-party partners, managing product evaluations, integrations, and the secure onboarding of external services and suppliers.</li><li>Continuously develop security technical skills and obtain security technical certifications as required by vendor partnerships.</li></ul> Position’s Requirements<ul><li>University degree in Computer Engineering, or any other IT related field.</li><li>At least 3 years of proven working experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.</li><li>Familiarity with Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiWeb, FortiMail, FortiClient, etc.) is a significant plus.</li><li>Knowledge of networking protocols.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.</li><li>Professional certifications such as Fortinet NSE or similar are highly desirable.</li><li>Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Willing to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation abilities (in English and Greek).</li><li>Friendly and professional manner with an enthusiastic positive approach towards tasks.</li></ul> Working hours Monday – Friday: 8:00/8:30 – 16:30/17:00 Summer months: Friday 8:00-14:00 or 8:30-14:30 &nbsp;Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV via the link provided: <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17464418014900069663apW">https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17464418014900069663apW</a>
