This is a unique opportunity to engage in cross-border collaboration with Deloitte professionals across the Deloitte network, broadening your knowledge and building your competencies and skills.&nbsp;The Contentious Matters Coordinator Role&nbsp;Key Responsibilities&nbsp;Administrative:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support Contentious Matters Lead with diarizing, planning, and meeting requests.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaison and key point of contact Contentious Matters Team and the business as required.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Act as a liaison between the Contentious Matters Leader and external counsel as required.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist with monthly reporting obligations.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain a detailed and updated database of all contentious matters.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare relevant internal reports by extracting necessary information from the database.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain case files on SharePoint, ensuring all files are properly organized and up to date.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Diarize deadlines and important dates.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage emails and cases.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist in streamlining processes, including drawing up forms and templates for internal circulation.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Create PowerPoint presentations and run case statistics.&nbsp;Technical (Legal):&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Analyze facts, gather evidence, and prepare legal memorandums.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare summary notes and minutes of meeting.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Keep template library.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist the Contentious Matters Team in preparing internal training sessions on issues surrounding contentious matters, including risk mitigation.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor legal developments across the Middle East and Cyprus and report back to the Contentious Matters Team.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work with the Contentious Matters Leader on developing and enhancing policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with laws and regulations across multiple Middle East jurisdictions.&nbsp;Requirements&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Undergraduate degree in any field.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent organizational and planning skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to build relationships with relevant stakeholders.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Keenness to learn about different stakeholder sectors.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; General proactivity in all areas of work.&nbsp;Benefits&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competitive remuneration package.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Pension plan.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Medical coverage and life insurance.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Continuous professional development.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Flexible hours and hybrid working.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Friday afternoon off throughout the year.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 34-hour week between July-September, including 2 afternoons off on Wednesday and Friday.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Public Holidays falling on weekends given as paid Wellbeing Day off on the Friday before.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Special types of leave.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Deloitte Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7/365 specialist counselling support.&nbsp;Why Deloitte?&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Be the true you!&nbsp;We foster diversity and inclusion and encourage you to bring your authentic self to work.
