Job briefSveltos Estates Ltd which operates in the Tourist and HORECA industry in Larnaka, and is the operator of Sveltos Hotel in Oroklini, The Ciao Stelio Deluxe Hotel on Mackenzie Beach and Sveltos Residence Apartments in Larnaka, as well as the Enigma Restaurant on Mackenzie Beach is looking for a&nbsp;Chief&nbsp;Maintenance&nbsp;Assistant, for providing support to the Maintenance Team.The duties and responsibilities of the Chief Maintenance Assistant vary depending on the venue, but can include inspecting, fixing and maintaining equipment and machinery as well as painting and decorating or conducting repairs to flooring and other fittings.Your goal will be to ensure that all our venue premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike, while following the required Health &amp; Safety guidelines.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform repair works in the Hotel's building, rooms, common areas and other facilities, following the instructions of the Maintenance Manager.</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchen, restaurant).</li><li>Make sure repair projects are in a manner that does not disturb guests.</li><li>Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power cuts, water leakages, etc.).</li><li>Perform other maintenance related jobs according to the directions of the Maintenance Manager.</li><li>Conducting preventative maintenance and identifying when items need upgrading or replacing.</li><li>Maintaining grounds by mowing lawns, clearing leaves and gritting paths when necessary.</li><li>Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure that they complete projects on time.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance Employee.</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer, painting and HVAC systems.</li><li>Any previous Hotel Industry experience is a plus.</li><li>Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly.</li><li>Problem-solving aptitude.</li><li>Able to multitask and work fast under pressure.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Any professional working licenses or certifications are a plus.</li><li>Able to work weekends and public holidays.</li><li>Cyprus resident with all necessary legal documents.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; BenefitsThe company offers a competitive remuneration package to the right candidate, in accordance to qualifications and experience.ApplicationsInterested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:fo@ciaostelio.com">gm@sveltosgroup.com</a>All applications will be treated in the strictest confidentiality and only eligible candidates will be contacted.
