&nbsp;The successful candidate will support the preparation of accurate accounting records, financial reports, and management information for a diverse portfolio of international clients. The main responsibilities of the role include:<ul><li>Record transactions, process journal entries, and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness</li><li>Record invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing</li><li>Perform reconciliations of control accounts, including bank, debtor, and creditor accounts</li><li>Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and provisional corporate income tax computations</li><li>Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and assist during external audits</li><li>Provide general support with ad-hoc accounting tasks and special projects as needed</li></ul>&nbsp;Profile of the ideal candidate<ul><li>University degree or Diploma in Accounting, or a related field, or holder of LCCI Higher in Accounting</li><li>At least 2 of experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Office. Experience with computerized accounting software; familiarity with Microsoft Navision will be considered an advantage</li><li>Good understanding of VAT and tax-related issues</li><li>Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills</li><li>High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team</li><li>Fluent in English</li></ul>Remuneration and benefitsAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates based on qualifications and experience.
