Vacancy for Simulated Patients&nbsp;The University of Nicosia Medical School, is currently in need of Simulated Patients, between the ages of 18 – 75 years of age, with excellent command of the English language.&nbsp;&nbsp;What will you do?You will enact specific roles of patients with different clinical problems (e.g., asthma, back ache, heart problems, etc.) and you will be trained to give direct feedback to medical students on their performance, in a constructive, specific and balanced manner.&nbsp;Selection Process:&nbsp;Step 1: Complete and submit your application form the latest by Friday, 13th June 2025. The application form can be downloaded by clicking <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.unic.ac.cy/med/2025/05/14/simulated-patients/">here</a>.&nbsp;Step 2: Following the submission of your application form, it will be reviewed and upon successful selection you will be invited to attend a 4-hour training session. You will be informed of the specific date ahead of time.&nbsp;Step 3: During the 4-hour training session you will learn how the clinical communication sessions are taught as well as how to give feedback to students. You will be provided with written patient scenarios; you will be observed performing these scenarios and you will be evaluated based on your performance.&nbsp;&nbsp;Step 4: Upon successful completion of the training, and having passed the selection process you will be offered a Service Level Agreement with the University of Nicosia Medical School, if you decide to accept the position.&nbsp;Step 5: Once you join our team you will be invited to participate in different sessions and Assessments throughout the Academic Year on an ad-hoc basis, based on our demands and your availability.&nbsp;Please send your application form to <a href="mailto:hr@med.unic.ac.cy">hr@med.unic.ac.cy</a>, indicating that you are applying for the Simulated Patients position with reference number S25SP02 in the subject line of your email by Friday, 13th June 2025.&nbsp;All applications will be reviewed in the strictest of confidence.&nbsp;Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
