About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or someone with up to one year of experience in a legal, regulatory, or corporate compliance setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team in ensuring the company adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices.This position offers hands-on training, professional development opportunities, and a clear path to build a career in compliance and risk management.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with monitoring and maintaining the company’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures</li><li>Support in conducting compliance reviews and internal audits</li><li>Help draft and update internal policies in line with current regulations</li><li>Maintain up-to-date records of compliance documentation and registers</li><li>Assist with regulatory filings and reporting</li><li>Monitor and respond to compliance queries from internal departments</li><li>Conduct initial research on regulatory developments and report key updates to the team</li><li>Assist in delivering compliance training and awareness initiatives</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity</li><li>Provide administrative support to the Compliance team as required</li></ul>RequirementsEducation &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>A law degree (LLB or equivalent) is essential</li><li>Additional qualifications in compliance, risk, or financial regulation are a plus (but not required)</li><li>Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in a legal, regulatory, or compliance-related role (internships and placements included)</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong understanding of legal and regulatory principles</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills</li><li>Strong communication skills – written and verbal</li><li>Proactive, organized, and able to manage time effectively</li><li>Comfortable working independently and as part of a team</li><li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Ongoing training and mentoring</li><li>Sponsoring of professional certifications</li><li>Supportive team environment</li><li>Exposure to various areas of regulatory compliance and corporate governance</li><li>Opportunity to work with senior compliance professionals and legal experts</li></ul>Working hours 9-6 Monday to Friday
