Chief Accountant On behalf of a client, a land and real estate developer that focuses on designing and creating luxury residential real estate and world-class resorts, we are currently looking for a dynamic professional for the position of Chief Accountant who will join their team in Pafos. Position’s Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts and reconciliations.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance.</li><li>Coordinate and support internal/external audits, ensuring full compliance.</li><li>Implement and monitor internal control systems.</li><li>Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.</li><li>Analyze variances and provide actionable insights.</li><li>Oversee daily cash flow and maintain optimal liquidity.</li><li>Manage fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).</li><li>Liaise with tax advisors and regulatory authorities.</li><li>Collaborate with operational teams for accurate cost control.</li><li>Provide financial support for new initiatives and projects.</li><li>Review payroll to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to hotel policies.</li></ul>Position’s Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related field (Master’s preferred).</li><li>ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification required.</li><li>5–7 years’ progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role (hospitality/luxury sector preferred).</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and hotel-specific systems (THEOVA).</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>High integrity and attention to detail.</li></ul> Salary:&nbsp;up to €45,000 gross Working hours:&nbsp;Monday - Friday, 9:00-17:00&nbsp;If you are interested, please submit your CV via the provided link: <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17496357764270069663jem">https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17496357764270069663jem</a>
