On behalf of our client, a well-established international group of companies with operations in renewable energy, property development and retail activities, we are seeking to recruit for immediate employment a dynamic professional for the position of Accountant.&nbsp;Overview&nbsp;The Accountant will oversee the general accounting functions of the group’s Cyprus-based operations in Limassol. &nbsp;&nbsp;Job Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Preparation of accounting records in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and Cyprus Companies Law</li><li>Preparation of financial statements and management reports</li><li>Performing reconciliations of bank, creditor, debtor and intercompany balances</li><li>Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts</li><li>Various administrative tasks such as the issue of invoices and receipts</li><li>Maintenance of hard copies archive&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </li><li>Liaising with banks and the company’s external auditors, accountants and tax consultants. Preparing supporting documents for yearly audit</li><li>Able to work efficiently either independently or as part of a team</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications and Experience&nbsp;The ideal candidate for the Accountant position should have:&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or similar</li><li>Minimum 2-3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in Cyprus</li><li>Experience with IFRS and Financial Reporting</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Excel</li><li>Proficiency in financial software. Knowledge of E-Soft will be considered an advantage</li><li>Proven ability to work under pressure and be part of a team</li><li>Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with outstanding attention to detail</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and high level of responsibility</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and support an international, inter-disciplinary, multi-cultural team of professionals</li></ul>&nbsp;Languages&nbsp;Proficiency in English and Greek is a must. Good working knowledge of Ukrainian will be considered a plus.&nbsp;Remuneration&nbsp;A highly attractive remuneration package of €35K+ will be offered to the successful candidate based on qualifications and experience.
