CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international provider of Corporate &amp; Fiduciary Services, and with regional operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Financial &amp; Investment Reporting Accountant to join their growing team based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the bookkeeping and financial reporting of Cyprus and international investment companies in accordance with IFRS, IAS and global GAAPs, as well as the handling of audit requests and liaising with auditors from start to the completion of audits. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field, who are ideally full members of a recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or working towards the qualification. Knowledge of appropriate accounting and financial reporting treatment of complex financial assets and derivatives transactions is a must, and commercial awareness and previous experience working closely with trust and corporate administration professionals in Cyprus will be considered an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience.Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Bookkeeping and financial reporting of Cyprus and international investment companies in accordance with IFRS, IAS and global GAAPs.</li><li>Performance of bank reconciliations and revaluations of securities portfolios.</li><li>Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES returns.</li><li>Preparation of quarterly, semi-annual and annual management accounts and financial statements in accordance with IAS and IFRS.</li><li>Assistance in preparation of audit files in coordination with mandate heads.</li><li>Handling of audit requests and liaising with auditors from start to completion of the audit.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another closely related field.</li><li>Holders of, or those working towards a professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.</li><li>Knowledge of appropriate accounting and financial reporting is a must.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication in English is essential.</li><li>Commercial awareness and previous experience working closely with trust and corporate administration professionals in Cyprus is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.</li><li>Team player, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.</li><li>Able to work independently and take on additional responsibility as necessary to deliver the work.</li><li>Openness to learn new things and to adopt ways of working more effectively.</li><li>Able to manage multiple tasks of varying priorities and flexibly adjust when priorities unexpectedly change.</li></ul>To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG8069.
