CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Legal, Accounting and associated professional services, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of clients. An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field is desirable, and holders of the LCCI Higher certification are encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking applicants with approximately 2+ years of relevant experience, who are fluent in both Greek &amp; English. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, as well as excellent working hours from either 08:00 – 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30, or 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, and the option to work remotely is offered once per week.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Handling of accounting and bookkeeping on behalf of a portfolio of clients.</li><li>Communication with clients.</li><li>Performing debtors, creditors &amp; bank reconciliations.</li><li>Assistance in preparation and submission of VAT, VIES reports on behalf of clients.</li><li>Any other related tasks that may be assigned.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable.</li><li>Holders of the LCCI Higher Certification are encouraged to apply.</li><li>2+ years of previous experience in accounting and bookkeeping is essential.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of VAT accounting.</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills in both Greek &amp; English.</li><li>Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Willingness to learn and develop professionally.</li><li>Knowledge of Excel.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG8418.
