Junior IT Administrator&nbsp;The <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="http://www.unic.ac.cy">University of Nicosia (UNIC)</a> is a leading research university ranked in the Top 501-600 in the 2025 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.&nbsp;UNIC Health, supporting the strategic growth of its Medical and Veterinary Schools, seeks a full-time Junior IT Administrator based in Nicosia to join its Team.&nbsp;&nbsp;Main Responsibilities:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and networking issues promptly and effectively·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, etc.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor and manage network systems and servers, ensuring timely backups, updates, and regular maintenance·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and IT system failures·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Document, prioritize, and address user requests and incidents·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Coordinate with external vendors and manage service contracts where required·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Deliver IT-related training to users when necessary&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in&nbsp;Computer Science,&nbsp;Information Technology,&nbsp;Computer Engineering, or a related field·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Certifications such as&nbsp;Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator&nbsp;or&nbsp;Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)&nbsp;are advantageous·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous work experience in an IT support role is an advantage but not mandatory·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hands-on knowledge of&nbsp;Windows Server environments,&nbsp;Windows 10/11, and&nbsp;Office 365·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fluency in&nbsp;English and Greek, both oral and written·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong communication and organizational skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Problem-solving skills with a critical-thinking mindset&nbsp;The ideal candidate should be eligible to work in the European Union/ European Economic Area.&nbsp;Competitive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience.&nbsp;Send your CV and cover letter to <a href="mailto:hr@med.unic.ac.cy">hr@med.unic.ac.cy</a>, indicating that you are applying for the Junior IT Administrator position with reference number A25JITA02 in the subject line of your email by Wednesday, 20th August 2025.&nbsp;Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for immediate interviews.&nbsp;
