Job Title:&nbsp;Business AnalystDepartment: Merchant Acquiring &amp; Financial ServicesReports to: Head Merchant Acquiring &amp; Financial Services&nbsp;About the Role:We are looking for a skilled and detailed-oriented&nbsp;Business Analyst&nbsp;to join our team to support the development and optimization of innovative merchant acquiring services and products and financial services solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape. This role is critical in bridging business needs with technology, ensuring that our products, services and processes align with strategic goals, comply with regulatory requirements, and meet customer expectations.&nbsp;&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li dir="ltr">Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to merchant acquiring and financial services products and services.</li><li dir="ltr">Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, compliance, finance and operations to understand business needs and define clear, actionable requirements.</li><li dir="ltr">Work closely with IT teams to support the design, testing, and implementation of merchant acquiring products and services and financial services solutions.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Conduct market and competitor analysis to support product strategy and innovation.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Support the design and implementation of new features, enhancements, and process improvements.</li><li dir="ltr">Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and use cases.</li><li dir="ltr">Ensure alignment with card scheme (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and financial regulations, payment industry standards, risk policies and internal governance frameworks.</li><li dir="ltr">Maintain comprehensive documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer across teams.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li dir="ltr">Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.</li><li dir="ltr">2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the payment or financial services industry.</li><li dir="ltr">Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li dir="ltr">Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li><li dir="ltr">Solid understanding of merchant acquiring, card payments, and transaction processing is a plus.</li><li dir="ltr">Experience with acquiring platforms, payment gateways, or POS/e-commerce systems is a plus.</li><li dir="ltr">Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and business intelligence platforms.</li><li dir="ltr">Familiarity with card scheme rules, regulatory frameworks such as PSD2 and PCI DSS compliance is a plus</li><li dir="ltr">Knowledge of project management and agile methodologies is a plus.</li></ul>&nbsp;Contact Email: <a href="mailto:hr@jcc.com.cy">hr@jcc.com.cy</a>
