GCC Computers Ltd has several partnerships with leading vendors including Hewlett Packard, Juniper Networks and Fortinet.&nbsp;&nbsp;Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Senior Systems &amp; Platform Engineer to join our Systems Infrastructure Team. You will be working in the implementation and maintenance of on-premises infrastructure solutions, contributing to the development of the required platform technology stack and assisting with the complete system lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage Infrastructure as a Code practices, and work collaboratively with both developers and engineers to achieve reliability, security and efficiency in the development cycle.&nbsp;&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, implement and maintain the building blocks of on-premises infrastructure solutions, ensuring reliability, security and developer velocity</li><li>Establish and enforce Infrastructure as a Code practices (e.g., using Terraform and Ansible)</li><li>Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling</li><li>Take responsibility for infrastructure uptime and cost optimization</li><li>Closely collaborate with software developers, providing support on platforms and services hosted by the infrastructure team and assisting with CI/CD pipelines</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Requirements<ul><li>University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field</li><li>Good understanding of Linux</li><li>5+ years of experience in backend systems or platform engineering, with hands-on experience owning production systems</li><li>Passion for technology and a genuine interest in problem solving</li><li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment</li><li>Work ownership and accountability</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills and Competencies<ul><li>Experience with Linux administration, including operating system installations, building system images, hardening, and automated server provisioning</li><li>Solid foundation in systems implementation, services design and provisioning of the technology stack (e.g., database clusters, web services, proxy, IAM, monitoring and logging, etc)</li><li>Understanding of virtualization technologies and their interaction with the underlying hardware is an advantage</li><li>Experience with Infrastructure as a Code practices (Terraform and Ansible knowledge) is a definite plus</li><li>Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and internal platforms (Jenkins and GitHub) is a definite plus</li></ul>&nbsp;Nice to have<ul><li>Programming / scripting skills</li><li>Prior experience mentoring and leading small teams</li></ul>&nbsp;ApplicationsInterested candidates must electronically submit their applications with a recent C.V to <a href="mailto:careers@gcc.com.cy">careers@gcc.com.cy</a> before 8th of October 2025 quoting the above job title and reference number.Please ensure your application clearly highlights your relevant technical experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
