Job OverviewThe Restaurants Manager will ensure the smooth running of all Restaurants, Conference Rooms and Event Halls, in the most efficient and effective manner. He/she will deliver the highest possible standards of service through the effective development, management and leadership of the department’s human resources, equipment and provisions.&nbsp;Main Responsibilities &amp; Duties<ul><li>To implement and train the correct hotel service standards, monitor and strive for continuous improvement.</li><li>To thoroughly understand, adhere to and train in all Hotel standards in food quality, presentation, service, guests care culture, cleanliness, food safety and hygiene.</li><li>To monitor all Restaurants activities by actively participating in the service and be vigilantly attentive to service details, buffet standards and all produce quality.</li><li>To co-ordinate effectively with the related/dependent departments through regular contact, before, during and after service/shift about speed of service, item availability and popularity, inter-relations.</li><li>To inspect all Restaurants, Conference Rooms and Event Halls daily (front and back) to ensure cleanliness, physical condition and functioning of equipment.</li><li>To ensure the daily supervision of all subordinates ensuring that their actions, duties and opening and closing duties are carried out in accordance with the pre-set procedures.</li><li>To ensure and monitor staffing levels and rotes according to business levels.</li><li>To communicate to the Executive Chef and all superiors, all deviations from standard portion size and methods of preparation.</li><li>To communicate cost issues/financial status to all in the team in order to increase involvement and commitment.</li><li>To initiate new ideas to improve service and encourage all other team members to give their view.</li><li>To actively assist in the training of team members ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner.</li><li>To participate in the building of an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in each other’s welfare, safety and development.</li><li>To use all correct standards and methods of service as stated in the Department’s Operations Manual and SOPs.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Experience•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; University or Hotel Higher School degree in a relevant subject will be considered as advantage•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in 4- or 5-star Hotels•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. It would be very useful to be acquainted with a third European language.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Computer literate and familiar with Word and Excel.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Analytical skills, responsible and able to present results.&nbsp;Personal Characteristics•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; High sense of responsibility, initiative, judgement and readiness to make decisions in accordance with the general policies.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Organizational, Managerial and Leadership skills•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Readiness to take on responsibilities and duties beyond the narrow frame of his/her responsibilities.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work together and communicate effectively with all team members•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent analytical skills and able to present results.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Pleasant and friendly personality, fair, reliable, and polite with a high sense of customer care.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Holder of an EU passport/ID&nbsp;&nbsp;Remuneration package<ul><li>Competitive salary according to skills and experience.</li><li>Private medical insurance plan.</li></ul>&nbsp;Please forward your CV to <a href="mailto:hr@straphael.com">hr@straphael.com</a>Applications deadline 12th October 2025&nbsp;All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
