Legal Officer On behalf of ICPAC , an established professional association, we are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role Legal Officer to join their team in Nicosia. Position’s Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide assistance and support to the General Manager for the effective operation of the organization.</li><li>Offer advice and guidance on legal matters.</li><li>Review draft laws that affect the members of the Institute and provide suggestions for improvement.</li><li>Provide legal guidance and support in disciplinary procedures involving the organization’s members.</li><li>Handle complaints submitted against members and manage cases referred to the Disciplinary Committee.</li><li>Draft and prepare contracts and other legal documents and/or review contracts and legal documents of external collaborators.</li><li>Participate in and support committees of the council of the organization on matters related to the position.</li><li>Collaborate with all external bodies related to the responsibilities of the position.</li><li>Work with the teams of the Public Oversight Authority for the Audit Profession regarding statutory auditors and statutory audit firms.</li><li>Represent the Institute in bodies and committees related to the duties of the position.</li><li>Prepare reports, statements, and statistical data related to the activities of the position. &nbsp;</li><li>Continuously strive to improve processes and systems and manage changes effectively.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments of the Institute to ensure proper and professional operation.</li><li>Provide suggestions for topics to be included in training activities.</li><li>Perform other tasks/duties assigned by an authorized person.</li><li>Act as the Secretary of the organization, upon decision of the Council.</li></ul> Position’s Requirements<ul><li>University degree in Law, or any other related field</li><li>At least 3 years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Member of the Cyprus Bar Association</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing in Greek and English</li><li>Team orientated and able to work on own initiative</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul> Employer's Details Benefits<ul><li>13th salary</li><li>Provident fund (5%)</li></ul>Working hours: Monday – Friday (twice a week 8:00-17:30, three times per week 8:00-15:00)&nbsp;If you are interested, please submit your CV via the given link: <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17447251717200069663Fco">https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17447251717200069663Fco</a>
