CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading producer of custom printed garments for both personal and corporate needs, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team based in Latsia, Nicosia. As an Accountant, you will handle a range of accounting and bookkeeping duties, including the preparation and submission of VAT returns, carrying out regular reconciliations, communicating with suppliers and external auditors, and assisting with payroll preparation when needed. Our client is seeking candidates who ideally hold the LCCI Higher accounting certification, who possess approximately 3+ years of experience in a relevant role. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, with any specific experience working with E-Soft accounting software considered a significant advantage. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, as well as excellent working hours that offer flexibility (08:00 – 15:30 or 09:00 – 16:30 from Monday to Thursday &amp; 08:00 – 14:30 or 09:00 – 15:30 each Friday).&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Bookkeeping.</li><li>Preparation and submission of VAT returns.</li><li>Assist with payroll preparation if required.</li><li>Monthly reconciliation of debtors, creditors, and banks.</li><li>Handling other accounting tasks.</li><li>Communicate with suppliers, customers, and external auditors.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Holders of the LCCI Higher accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.</li><li>Approximately 3+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience is a must.</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.</li><li>Prior experience working with E-Soft accounting software is highly desirable.</li><li>Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.</li><li>Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Benefits:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Attractive salary based on skills and experience.</li><li>13th salary.</li><li>Flexible working hours.</li></ul> &nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG8538.
