Main Duties and Responsibilities:•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide 1st and 2nd line support to vessels, crew, clients and multisite offices. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;* Resolve tickets based on the defined priority level and within the specified timeframe, ensuring regular updates and progress tracking. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; * Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; * Determine the best solutions based on the issue and details provided. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; * Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; * Record events and works performed to resolve issues within the system. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; * Identify and suggest improvements to procedures. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; * Provide prompt and informative responses to user requests. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;IT Procurement (product sourcing, purchase orders &amp; vendor evaluation). •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage and maintain the IT Asset Register with accurate inventory and record all hardware and software purchased and allocated. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure IT familiarisation is conducted with new employees. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Install, configure and troubleshoot new and existing hardware, operating systems and software applications on laptops, printers, mobiles &amp; tablets. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform user account setup on workstations and mobile devices. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Inform colleagues about security software and best practices for information security. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain Active Directory access privileges, control structure, and resources. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create and maintain accurate technical documentation based on networking and system environment to support ongoing operations. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to M365 applications, account management and group creation. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Cabling duties: installs, maintains and troubleshoots the physical network infrastructure in the office and onboard vessels. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor areas of responsibility and communicate any potential issues. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Any other reasonable duties as defined by the role and management. Requirements:•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory (DHCP, DNS, user accounts), antivirus systems, MS Office 365/Outlook, OneDrive and Teams. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to repair computers/laptops, replacing or cloning disks would be considered an advantage. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with computer networks, network administration and installation. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and tactfully. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent communication skills, time management skills – able to plan, prioritise and organise.&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Flexible in work times. Will be required to work and possibly travel outside of normal office hours and overseas as operational requirements demand. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent English – Written and oral. •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Clean Criminal Record.
