Are you ready to take your Frontend skills to the next level?We are seeking an experienced HTML5 Game Developer, responsible for managing exciting gaming projects specific to marketing and industry specifications. An ideal candidate will stay excited to take challenges, contribute towards building new verticals and depict strong entrepreneurial skills. A well-qualified candidate will be someone who understands graphical representation, interactivity and sound design, in a cross-platform (desktop, mobile, tablet and social media applications) browser.All you need is:<ul><li>Extensive experience and knowledge in HTML5 canvas development and JavaScript;</li><li>High degree of knowledge of HTML5 game development engines and the ability to quickly get up to speed with any engine;</li><li>Ability to take audio and visual assets or a concept and turn them into a compelling gaming experience;</li><li>Experience in creating exciting, highly interactive experiences on desktop. iPad, iPhone and other mobile devices;</li><li>Experience porting HTML5 to iOS/Android app stores;</li><li>Effective communication skills;</li><li>Proven resourcefulness in troubleshooting complex problems;</li><li>Experience coding for mobile web using responsive web technologies;</li><li>Extensive design and game development experience;</li><li>Strong debugging and optimisation abilities;</li><li>Must be able to think critically and work in a fast-paced environment;</li><li>A team player, with active readiness in participating in team building, expanding and team engagement activities.</li></ul>Also, it will be great if you have:<ul><li>Minimum 2-5 years of experience in related domains;</li><li>Experience with NodeJS, React, Typescript, Phaser JS/Pixi JS is a plus;</li><li>Previous design experience (required);</li><li>Knowledge or experience with various game development pipelines &amp; methodologies;</li><li>Involvement within teams developing products is highly recommended;</li><li>Knowledge about games and/or the casino industry, including the current market landscape;</li><li>Experience working with multiple disciplines, including artists, mathematicians, software developers, etc., in creating games or products;</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills;</li><li>Degree-level Graduate or related field experience (preferred).</li></ul>Your daily adventures will look like:<ul><li>Developing interactive and compelling Casino games using HTML5;</li><li>Building games that run on Desktop, Tablet and Mobile devices;</li><li>Working closely with the creative design team to create HTML5-based games;</li><li>Providing game maintenance and enhancements;</li><li>Creating quality mock-ups and prototypes on tight timelines;</li><li>Maintaining graphic standards and branding throughout the game interface;</li><li>Staying up to date on emerging trends and technologies;</li><li>Writing clean, readable and well-documented code;</li><li>Being involved in projects from brainstorming to delivery;</li><li>Estimating time and effort in the project pitching phase;</li><li>Participation in team brainstorming;</li><li>Contributing to the review of other developers’ games and code;</li><li>Contributing to the evolution of the team’s processes and best practices.</li></ul>Why you will love working here:<ul><li>A remote-first culture built on trust, flexibility, and respect;</li><li>An ambitious, transparent leadership team that actually listens;</li><li>Plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to make a big, meaningful impact;</li><li>A product you can influence at the deepest level;</li><li>Competitive salary, holiday, and benefits (tailored depending on location).</li></ul>And this is how our interview process goes:<ul><li>A 30-minute interview with a member of our HR team to get to know you and your experience;</li><li>A 1-hour technical interview to assess your skills and abilities;</li><li>A final 1-hour interview with 2 team members to gauge your fit with our culture and working style.</li></ul>Sounds interesting?
