Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Record and post expenses and other financial transactions.</li><li>Handle bank and cash payments, including processing other bank-related transactions</li><li>Perform regular bank reconciliations.</li><li>Reconcile supplier and customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies.</li><li>Record incoming payments and receipts promptly and accurately.</li><li>Prepare and process supplier payments efficiently.</li><li>Prepare and submit VAT, VIES and other tax declarations as required.</li><li>Prepare payroll, social insurance including payroll tax filings and ensure timely remittance to tax authorities</li><li>Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, including payroll taxes</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT regulations and ensure compliance in invoicing and reporting</li><li>Assist with financial reporting and provide accurate information to management as needed.</li><li>Preparing the relevant files for the annual audit and liaising with external auditors</li><li>Supporting Management with the preparation of various financial reports</li><li>Review and verify Trial Balances for audit</li><li>Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 5+ years relevant working experience</li><li>University degree in Accounting/Finance is considered an advantage</li><li>Holder of any relevant accounting qualification (LCCI etc) is considered an advantage</li><li>Very good knowledge of the English and Greek language</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications (especially Excel).</li><li>Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.</li></ul>
