The Role:On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a passionate and self-motivated professional for the position of Head of Brokerage, to be based in their office in Nicosia.&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Lead, supervise, and develop the brokerage team, ensuring high performance and professional client service.</li><li>Oversee daily brokerage operations, including order execution, trade monitoring, and client relationship management.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, ESMA, CySEC, FCA).</li><li>Manage relationships with liquidity providers, prime brokers, and institutional clients.</li><li>Monitor market developments and provide strategic direction for brokerage activities.</li><li>Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and risk management.</li><li>Produce and review reports on brokerage performance, trade volumes, and profitability.</li><li>Serve as the main escalation point for client and operational issues.</li><li>Work closely with the Dealing, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth workflows.</li><li>Ensure implementation and monitoring of the firm's Best Execution Policy, including price comparisons, slippage reviews, and oversight of RTS 27/28 obligations.</li><li>Ensure execution data integrity for transaction reporting under EMIR and MiFIR in coordination with Compliance and Operations.</li><li>Implement pre- and post-trade surveillance controls to detect and escalate suspicious trading patterns or flow quality issues.</li><li>Oversee bridge configuration and execution routing logic across LPs to ensure optimal execution and failover readiness.</li><li>Contribute to the Internal Operations Manual and maintain up-to-date execution and escalation procedures in line with CySEC expectations.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).</li><li>Minimum [3+] years of experience in brokerage or financial markets, with proven leadership experience.</li><li>Solid knowledge of financial products (FX, CFDs, equities, commodities, derivatives).</li><li>Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, ESMA, CySEC, FCA).</li><li>Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV to <a href="mailto:rs@fincap.com">hr@fincap.com</a>&nbsp;All applicants will be treated with strict confidentiality.
