Our practice regularly coordinates complex litigation and arbitration cases handled by leading global firms, provides strategic oversight, legal analysis, and sanctions compliance advice.We combine the quality of top international firms with the flexibility of a smaller, agile team.&nbsp;Role OverviewWe are seeking an&nbsp;Associate (2–4 years PQE)&nbsp;to join our expanding&nbsp;Sanctions &amp; Disputes&nbsp;practice.The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers to support litigation and international arbitration matters, advise on sanctions compliance and enforcement issues, and assist in managing high volumes of case materials. This role involves&nbsp;reviewing, analyzing, and contributing to legal submissions and correspondence prepared by external counsel, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment.This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our office in Larnaca.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct detailed&nbsp;legal and factual analysis&nbsp;in international arbitration and litigation matters.</li><li>Review and contribute to draft pleadings, witness statements, and legal submissions&nbsp;prepared by external counsel.</li><li>Research and analyze sanctions regimes&nbsp;under&nbsp;EU, UK, and US&nbsp;law and prepare internal or client-facing memoranda and summaries.</li><li>Draft and review&nbsp;legal opinions, memoranda, and correspondence&nbsp;related to sanctions, enforcement, and dispute resolution.</li><li>Manage and review&nbsp;large volumes of documents and evidence&nbsp;in connection with ongoing disputes.</li><li>Monitor developments in&nbsp;sanctions legislation, guidance, and enforcement trends&nbsp;across key jurisdictions.</li><li>Liaise with external counsel, experts, and co-counsel teams to coordinate multi-jurisdictional strategy and document flow.</li><li>Assist in maintaining internal knowledge databases, and research materials.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Qualified lawyer (admitted in any jurisdiction; our focus is on the experience and abilities).</li><li>2–4 years’ PQE, ideally with exposure to cross-border disputes or sanctions work.</li><li>Excellent drafting and analytical skills&nbsp;(particularly in preparing legal memoranda and reviewing complex submissions).</li><li>Strong knowledge of EU, UK, and US sanctions frameworks&nbsp;and their practical enforcement.</li><li>Experience in or exposure to&nbsp;litigation and/or arbitration&nbsp;in European, UK, or US jurisdictions.</li><li>Fluent English (both written and spoken).</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage&nbsp;large document sets&nbsp;efficiently.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international, multi-time-zone environment.</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Exposure to&nbsp;high-profile international disputes&nbsp;and&nbsp;sanctions matters&nbsp;involving top-tier global law firms.</li><li>Small-team environment with direct partner access and meaningful client responsibility.</li><li>Opportunity to develop&nbsp;cross-border experience&nbsp;in complex matters.</li><li>Flexible, supportive, and internationally oriented workplace culture.</li></ul>SalaryStarting salary €3.000, subject to qualification and experience.
