Job Title: Pre-Primary School Cover Teacher (IB, Waldorf, and Montessori Programs)&nbsp;Reports to:&nbsp;Pre-Primary Principal&nbsp;Job Summary:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We are seeking a versatile and passionate&nbsp;Pre-Primary School Cover Teacher&nbsp;to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide short-term cover across three diverse educational programs: International Baccalaureate (IB), Waldorf, and Montessori. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a deep respect for each program's unique teaching philosophy. As a cover teacher, you will maintain a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students and ensure continuity of education during the absence of the regular class teacher.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Provide high-quality classroom cover for primary classes across IB, Waldorf, and Montessori programs.</li><li>Adapt to the specific teaching styles and methodologies of each program while delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.</li><li>Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and ensure smooth continuity of the curriculum.</li><li>Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that fosters each child’s holistic development.</li><li>&nbsp;Encourage student engagement and participation, adapting teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.</li><li>Collaborate with the lead teachers and program coordinators to understand each program's expectations and objectives.</li><li>Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on progress and any relevant information following cover periods.</li><li>Ensure classroom behaviour management aligns with the policies of each program.</li><li>Execute assigned duties of supervising students outside of the lessons (e.g. playground, canteen, etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and training related to IB, Waldorf, and Montessori approaches. &nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Skills:- Bachelor degree in Early years;&nbsp;- Fluent English;&nbsp;- Prior experience in a primary school setting.- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to different educational philosophies.- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.- Can do attitude.- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
