Position Objective:<ul><li>Managing and overseeing the daily operations within the Payroll cycle</li><li>Monitoring and analyzing payroll data and producing internal reports for Cyprus, and others, if any</li><li>Collaborating with other team members and divisions to ensure the correctness of data processing</li><li>Identifying and reporting any potential risks or internal control issues within the Payroll cycle, and working closely on the implementation of appropriate solutions</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Comprehensive understanding of payroll processes, labour and tax legislation (with a focus on Cyprus)</li><li>Strong grasp of employee benefits administration and payroll-related compliance Familiarity with global payroll reporting requirements</li><li>Solid knowledge of internal controls, audit preparation, and data confidentiality standards</li><li>Experience in payroll for IT company more than 2 years, experience in finance/accounting more than 4 years</li><li>Proven track record in managing payroll cycles for company with HC not less than 200 employees, preparing financial and tax reports, and working with regulatory bodies</li><li>Experience supporting financial audits and collaborating with external advisors and government authorities</li><li>Strong analytical and reconciliation skills</li><li>Proficiency in payroll/accounting platforms</li><li>MS Excel – advanced level</li><li>Experience with digital document workflow tools (e.g., DocuSign)</li><li>Accounting Systems – proficient understanding and hands-on experience</li><li>Fluent English (Greek nice to have)</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Payroll Calculations: Calculate employee salaries, considering working hours, overtime, tax discounts, deductions, reimbursements, etc</li><li>Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll-related taxes in accordance with Cyprus tax laws and regulations</li><li>Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits such as health insurance, pension contributions, and other allowances</li><li>Maintain meticulous records of employee payroll data, ensuring both confidentiality and accuracy</li><li>Compliance with Labour Laws: Stay up-to-date with Cyprus labour laws, including any changes in payroll and employment regulations</li><li>Communication: Address and resolve employee payroll-related queries, such as questions about deductions or tax amounts</li><li>Audit Preparation: Prepare documentation and support audits of payroll processes</li><li>System Maintenance: Use and maintain payroll software systems to optimise processes and improve efficiency</li><li>Remote Services Payments: Process payments for services provided by remote employees</li><li>External Consultants: Cooperate with payroll and tax consultants based in Cyprus and other countries</li><li>Authorities Communication: Manage communications with relevant authorities, including Tax and Social Insurance, as necessary</li><li>Audit Input: Contribute to financial audits of group companies by providing reports, employee lists, and other supporting documents as needed</li><li>Communicate with employees on personal tax matters</li></ul>&nbsp; 🤗 We offer freedom of choice:&nbsp;with us, you'd have a cafeteria benefits system where you can choose which benefits would fit your individual needs.
