In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support across both general IT infrastructure and the operations of the Distance Learning Unit (DLU). You will play a key role in troubleshooting issues, supporting end-users, maintaining accurate asset records, and ensuring smooth operation of digital learning platforms.&nbsp;&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>&nbsp;Administer and support the Moodle (LMS).&nbsp;</li><li>Manage and maintain Windows and/or Linux operating systems, ensuring stability, security, and performance.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide administration and technical support for Microsoft 365 (O365), including user accounts, licensing, and services.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize Microsoft Azure services for identity management, virtual machines, and cloud storage as part of IT operations and infrastructure.&nbsp;</li><li>Apply basic networking knowledge to troubleshoot and manage network components such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.&nbsp;</li><li>Leverage scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to improve system efficiency and streamline repetitive tasks.&nbsp;</li><li>Implement and adhere to cybersecurity best practices to protect organizational data and systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyse and resolve technical issues using strong problem-solving and analytical skills.&nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;Work independently to manage tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate effectively within a team environment, contributing to shared goals and cross-functional initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Stay up to date with evolving technologies and quickly adapt to new tools, platforms, and methodologies.&nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role, demonstrating hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Certifications: CCNA, MCSA, or similar certifications would be considered an advantage.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems is advantageous.&nbsp;</li><li>Understanding of industry-specific data formats and communication protocols is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek.&nbsp;</li></ul>ApplicationsPlease send your CV and Cover Letter &nbsp;to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:hr@uol.ac.cy">hr@uol.ac.cy</a>&nbsp; Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.&nbsp;All applications will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
