We're Hiring: Junior Accounting Officer (Shipping Group)&nbsp;&nbsp;Location: Limassol&nbsp;Join our dynamic and growing team in the shipping industry! We are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Accounting Officer to support our Finance and Corporate Services Department. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in a fast-paced, international environment with a well-established shipping group.&nbsp;&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;• Daily bookkeeping.&nbsp;• Assisting with the preparation and submission VAT and VIES reports.&nbsp;• Conducting monthly reconciliations for suppliers, customers, and banks.&nbsp;• Maintaining the cash book and other required financial analysis updated on a daily basis.&nbsp;• Preparing and assisting with the execution of daily payment runs in line with approved procedures.• Communicating and liaising with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.&nbsp;• Daily collaboration with the Finance Manager and or CFO for ad-hoc engagements and administration of the finance and corporate department.&nbsp;&nbsp;Required Qualifications:&nbsp;• University/College degree in accounting or a related field.&nbsp;• Experience with Navision / Dynamics 365 Business Central will be considered an advantage.• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.&nbsp;• Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ideal Candidate Profile:&nbsp;• Detail-oriented and results-driven with strong analytical and numerical skills.•&nbsp; Excellent multitasking, time management and organizational abilities.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Professionalism, integrity, trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information.• Positive and energetic personality, adaptable to a fast-paced international shipping environment.&nbsp;What We Offer:&nbsp;• A competitive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience.&nbsp;• Provident fund Scheme.&nbsp;• Group Medical Fund Scheme.&nbsp;• A supportive and professional working environment.&nbsp;• Opportunities for growth within a well-established shipping group.&nbsp;&nbsp;This is a unique opportunity to join a financially solid and internationally recognized shipping group, offering long-term career prospects in a professional and dynamic environment.All applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
