Financial Accountant, Nicosia – FAN/10/25Our client, a single family office, primarily focused on real estate and property management.We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Financial Accountant to join our central finance team. This role is primarily focused on bookkeeping and transactional accounting across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage high volumes of data with consistency.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate general ledger entries for multiple entities</li><li>Record and reconcile daily transactions including bank, supplier, and customer movements</li><li>Process accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments</li><li>Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure proper eliminations</li><li>Assist with VAT and other tax filings and liaising with tax advisors</li><li>Support month-end and year-end close processes with basic reporting tasks</li><li>Liaise with external accountants and auditors for statutory requirements</li><li>Maintain organized documentation and audit trails for all financial records</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or financial accounting</li><li>Acquiring a professional qualification of ACCA or ACA will be considered as a strong advantage</li><li>Experience working with property portfolios or investment groups is a plus</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software</li><li>Strong Excel skills and familiarity with multi-entity accounting</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities</li><li>Basic understanding of financial reporting (though not a core focus of the role)</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Pension plan</li><li>Private medical insurance</li></ul>&nbsp;If you are interested please apply here:&nbsp;https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17612183967820114171ZbH
