Our Firm:Savvas Kasparis, an established provider of Accounting, Tax &amp; Audit Services since 1989 with offices in Nicosia and Larnaca, is seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer for his accounting team in Larnaca. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintaining proper and complete accounting books and records for the firm’s clientele;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Communicating directly with clients to obtain the necessary information and supporting documentation;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensuring that the processing of accounting transactions is conducted in due time for deadlines;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Preparing various accounting analysis and reconciliations, such as bank and supplier reconciliations etc;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Preparing VAT returns and VIES reports. QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;LCCI Higher Certificate or College/ University degree in Accounting is prerequisite;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous experience in an accounting similar position for at least 4 years;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent computer skills, including accounting packages and MS Office;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Detail orientated, organized, good time management and prioritizing skills with ability to multi-task;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Very good knowledge of the IFRSs;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Very good knowledge of preparation and submission of VAT and VIES;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Very Good knowledge of&nbsp; usage of Ergani and SISnet&nbsp; platforms.&nbsp;REMUNERATOIN AND BENEFITS:We provide a 13 months’ salary and a half day on Friday afternoon.
