We're Hiring: Accountant (Construction &amp; Development Group)Location: Limassol&nbsp;Join our growing team in the construction and real estate development sector! We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented&nbsp;Accountant to join our Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to develop within a well-established and expanding group involved in multiple construction and property projects across Cyprus.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Managing the full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and month-end closings for construction and property-related entities.</li><li>Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission in accordance with Cyprus VAT legislation (including reduced VAT rate for properties).</li><li>Maintaining and reconciling suppliers, subcontractors, intercompany accounts, and bank statements on a monthly basis.</li><li>Monitoring project-related expenses, progress payments, and retention accounts.</li><li>Assisting in cost allocation per project and preparing project profitability and cost-to-completion analyses.</li><li>Coordinating with project manager, engineer, and site administrators to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.</li><li>Preparing management accounts and assisting in financial reporting and cashflow forecasting.</li><li>Liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and other external consultants as required.</li><li>Supporting the Finance Manager and/or CFO with ad-hoc reporting, budgeting, and administrative tasks.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in construction, real estate, or audit firms will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting standards, and IFRS principles.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) or similar ERP systems.</li><li>Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.</li><li>Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.</li></ul>Ideal Candidate Profile:<ul><li>Methodical, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities efficiently.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments (engineering, procurement, and management).</li><li>Professional, trustworthy, and discreet in handling confidential information.</li><li>Positive and proactive attitude, with adaptability to a dynamic work environment.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience.</li><li>Supportive and professional working environment.</li><li>Long-term career development opportunities within a stable and expanding group of companies.</li></ul>&nbsp;This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and financially sound construction and development group, offering long-term professional growth and exposure to diverse projects.All applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
