Our client, a leading property development and real estate company based in Limassol, is seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their team. The role involves performing bookkeeping and clerical tasks to maintain accurate financial records, including data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organization within one of Cyprus’s most vibrant industries.&nbsp;Job Duties and Responsibilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Checking and processing of Company’s expenses·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Reconciling of payable and receivable accounts·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Processing of various journal entries and accruals·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Reconciliation of month end Accruals Account·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Making bank reconciliation&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Calculation and workings of VAT, ensuring all supporting documents are prepared &nbsp;&nbsp; for compliance with payments.&nbsp;Minimum Qualifications·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Three years of relevant experience in a similar position·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent understanding in accounting and bookkeeping matters·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Speak and write fluently both in Greek and English·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maturity in handling confidential information and strong work ethic·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and associates·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, with good business judgment&nbsp;If you have the required skills and you are seeking for an opportunity in a well-established company, send your CV at hr@aretilaw.comAll applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
