Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to manage the design, development, and delivery of residential and office building projects. This role involves overseeing project planning, execution, and client engagement while ensuring compliance with technical, budgetary, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring project success and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:1. Planning and Design:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Appraisal of Plots and Project Potential: Assess plots for acquisition and develop project potential plans aligned with company objectives. Use advanced engineering tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D to evaluate site layouts and preliminary designs.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaboration with Architects: Communicate the employer’s vision and technical requirements to architects, ensuring designs integrate structural functionality with aesthetic goals.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Internal Standards and Specifications: Ensure all designs comply with internal processes, building codes, and quality benchmarks, leveraging engineering tools to validate precision and compliance.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaison with Consultants:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Work with quantity surveyors for budgeting and precise measurements.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate with electromechanical engineers to optimize solutions focused on functionality and cost efficiency.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supervision of Design Coordination: Oversee the harmonization of drawings and designs from all consulting teams to ensure consistency.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Material Guidelines: Provide input on material selection, balancing cost, quality, and sustainability.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bill of Quantities Evaluation: Review and approve bills of quantities prepared by quantity surveyors before submission to contractors.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Contractor Selection: Participate in appraising contractor offers, negotiating terms, and finalizing agreements.2. Project Development and Management:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On-Site Visits and Progress Monitoring: Conduct frequent on-site visits to monitor progress and ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and design specifications.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Schedule and Budget Compliance: Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, addressing delays or challenges proactively.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Material Verification: Inspect and verify the status and quality of materials to ensure compliance with design specifications.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Payment Approvals: Approve payments to contractors and subcontractors based on verified progress milestones.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to legal, health, and safety standards on-site.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Snagging and Handover Supervision: Oversee the snagging process, ensuring all defects are resolved prior to the final handover.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth operations and effective problem resolution.3.
